Come explore the softer sides of yoga. This workshop will include gentle shapes that decompress and nourish the spine. These transformational embodiment practices gently nurture opening and promote release of holding patterns. Following the Supreme Release Yoga, Kendra will guide you in Yoga Nidra, or conscious sleep. This is a yogic technique which systematically brings you into a state of deep relaxation on all levels—physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Yoga Nidra is typically practiced lying down comfortably on your back in savasana, supported by cushions and covered lightly with a blanket. It is perfect for everyone to try—even those who have never practiced any form of yoga before. Just lie back, get comfortable, listen to the teacher’s instructions and let go.
